The name of the Hotel Splendid always makes me smile. A hotel that can call itself Splendid must certainly live up to its expectations, right? Well, this hotel did, and far exceeded any expectations I had for the place. After a long and sometimes frightening drive from Banesa Airport in Bucharest to Contstanta, we arrived at the Hotel Splendid in Mamaia. The hotel was not hard to find at all. The hotel was exceptionally clean. The bedroom and bath room were very large and furnished beautifully. Each room has its own balacony. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Dinner in the dining room was served by polite workers and food was delicious and price right. I would highly recommend this hotel and would go back. Very clean, polite employees, good food and location.
